What is the application deadline?

Applications for the BAI/UPPA 2019 Summer School will be reviewed up until June 15th, 2019, or until we have accepted fifty candidates. As a general rule, the earlier you apply, the greater your chances to be admitted to the programme.

What fees are required to reserve your seat in the Summer School?

To secure your place at the Summer School, you are required to pay a deposit of 250 Euros. This deposit will be applied to course fees.

The deposit includes a 50 Euro non-refundable application fee. 

Payment in full must be made one month before the start of the summer session (i.e. before June 2, 2019).

What happens if I'm forced to cancel my trip?

If it is no longer possible for you to participate in the course you have paid for you need to withdraw no later than 4 weeks prior the start of the Summer session. After that date, a refund of your participation/tuition fee is no longer possible.

Is the price of student housing 200 euros for the entire stay, or 200 euros per day?

Although their are more expensive housing options in Biarritz and Bayonne , the price for university student housing is effectively 200 euros for the 10 day stay. The social budget is their contribution to the group activities (cooking class, pelota, field trips, etc.) and is also 250 euros for the 10 days. 


What is not included in the participation and tuition fees?

Books, course material, housing, social program, and meals are not included in the fees and must be paid separately.

Do you have any scholarships available for the Business Analytics Summer School?

Unfortunately, we DO NOT have scholarships available for the summer school.

Does the Institute provide visa application letters? 

Most foreign nationals can to travel without a French Visa  for a short stay of up to 3 months. If you do need a visa to enter the Schengen Area, we will provide accepted applicants with an invitation letter for your visa application. 

I am not sure that I will receive my English test results/other documentation before the deadline (June 15).Can I still apply?

You can submit your application with the documents in your possession. When we review your application, we will set your application to "incomplete". Your application will remain open  allowing you to send your final documentation when you have it. 
Please note that we cannot guarantee to take any documentation into consideration that is received later than June 15th!

My university uses another kind of credit system than ECTS - how do I know if I have what's equivalent to 180 ECTS?

Generally speaking, 180 ECTS is equivalent to three years of full-time studies. If your university does note accept ECTS, we will do an individual assessment of your documentation once we receive your application.

Where is the University Housing located, and can I park my car at the residence?

The Résidence Universitaire Arancette is located next to the campus on 24 chemin d'Arancette, 64100 BAYONNE

A free parking lot is available at the University Residence, and you can take the bus (or walk) to campus. Alternatively, students can park at the Sainte Claire car park on campus for a fee (2 Euros per 2 hours).

Buses (lines 4 and 14) that run every 15 minutes between University Housing and the Summer School. It takes just over twenty minutes to walk (or nine minutes on a bike) from Student Housing to campus.

When can we move into University Housing, and what do we need to bring? 

You may move into your student housing any time on July 1rst. There is an apartment manager on 24 hour call that will assist you. We will also have someone there to meet you during the day on Sunday and we will organize a welcome at the end of the afternoon.

If you wish to stay beyond July 11th, you may keep your apartment for the standard rate of 20 euros a day.

Please note that we will provide new sheets for the beds in student housing (during the year the students bring their own).
